Dominix Blaster Boat
Posted: 2009-08-28 Filed under: ships | Tags: dominix, dps, ships 2 CommentsHere is my Dominix blaster boat that I use to clear WH sites. My routine is to launch Hammerhead drones to kill off the scramming frigs and then use the Ogre’s to take on the larger BC/BS Sleepers.
Stable capacitor at 44% with both Large Armor Repairers running. Drone Interfacing V helps tack on additional drone damage.

I would not suggest this setup to be used for people going into wormholes.
With all level 5 skills and overheat, it only gets up to 766 DPS with the drones. This would also be an uncommon situation because..
1. Ogre drones take a long time to get to the target, and in the case vs sleepers, would most likely be destroyed by the time they get there.
2. Without any kind of MWD or propulsion mod, it would be nearly impossible to get into range for the cruisers or battleships.
3. The resists should be switched for a more explosive and thermal fit, rather than EM as most sleepers deal 30/30/20/20 (Exp, therm, EM, kin).
